After two years of postponement, we were finally able to attend the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) conference 2022 in San Diego!

Between the initial date of March 2020 and the final date of 2022, two major disruptors were revealed: COVID and lockdown. It transformed the world, changed the way it works and the way we work.

GALA 2022, therefore, was the perfect opportunity to tackle all these issues and keep working!

GALA 2022’s agenda: What kind of world awaits us after the pandemic?

We were able to discuss wellness-focused workplaces and resilience-focused growth strategies. We addressed the issue of productivity gains made possible by digital technology, and language companies newly oriented towards data processing.

All these things, among others, led to more complex supply chains.

Broadly speaking, the main pillars of the conference continued to be knowledge, networking, and inspiration. We’ve all learned a lot, and what seemed impossible has clearly been presented as the new normal!

At the conference, Anna and her good humor were there to represent us! She presented all the innovations added to our TBMS and explained how we stayed on course in this extraordinary situation.
